MISSION SAVE FARMER
December 2014
December 2014 we started with an initiative called Mission Save Farmer to help poor and needy farmers, especially in the region of Marathwada, without restriction to any cast or religion. It intends to help farmers morally, financially or in any other way, in order to prevent them from ending their own lives. It will assist farmers to learn and adopt new farming strategy, techniques to improve their crops productivity, with reduced efforts. Additionally it will provide financial assistance in case of medical or any other emergency situation in their family, with an intension to reduce extra burden on their minds.
SPREAD A SMILE
January 2016
t's a fact that not everyone in this world has the fate to cherish the fullest form of happiness. Spread A Smile is a campaign led by Shetkari Jiv 2017to bring those happy moments for orphans, children of deceased farmers and other destitute children living on the streets. These are the children who do not get to enjoy the essence of childhood. By organizing small celebrations and other fun events, ShetkariJiv 2017 aims to equip these children with the means they require for a healthy future.
EDUCATONAL ASSISTANCE
January 2017
In year 2017, we started with a very limited number of students so as to have better control over the activity. Rather than direct monetary assistance, we opted providing them all school necessities. Starting with just 11 students, today we are supporting around 200 students from all over Vidarbhas region. This number considerably includes children from deceased farmer's families and other orphan kids as well as single parent (widow's) kids.
